Accor going green on the celebration of Earth Guest Day 2011 ‘Green for a Meaningful Life’ - May 19, 2011
Accor Bali hotels taking a step further in enhancing the awareness of protecting the earth. Bali, Indonesia – Accor, the largest international operator of hotels in Indonesia, known for its commitment on sustainable CSR program.

Collaborating with a public health service organization Manu Waluya, Accor Bali hotels celebrated
this year Earth Guest Day with theme Green for a Meaningful Life. Together they have set a four
months Verticulture program for YPAC Jimbaran students and teachers.
On behalf of the region Mr. Stephane Bryer, General Manager of The Royal Beach Seminyak Bali,
officially announced the starting of the program. They conducted the first step: focusing on
education and training on planting ergonomic vegetables. This step is a beginning of the life-skill
educations program that will give children a head to start in life. The day started with the
presentation of the program and then followed by handed over plantation seeds from Accor team
to the YPAC.

foundation Yayasan Peduli Tunas Bangsa in 2001, with the twin goals of alleviating poverty and protecting
the environment through four major pillars: education, healthcare, nutrition and treeplanting.
