BHA’s New Chairman
Born and raised in Sicily, Italy, Alessandro Migliore
originally graduated from the Hospitality College in Palermo. Since then, he
has spent much of his life working overseas, notching up experience in 13
different countries and landing, finally, in Indonesia. Alessandro moved here
in 2001, leading Accor hotels across the country, from Medan, North Sumatra to
Bali. He has strong views on the development of the tourism industry on the
island.
“Right now, the natural environment has become a primary
issue to focus on due to the inevitable side effects of the island's rapid
development. Of course, as an industry player, I feel compelled to be involved
at a level greater than that of a GM. So I feel it a duty and an honor to serve
BHA as Chairman, serving alongside an equally committed Board.”
