In 2014 Java Jazz Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary and has now become the biggest Jazz Festival in the world! For the first time ever the Bali Live
International Festival in association with the Java Jazz Festival, will take place just after Java Jazz Festival, from 3rd to 8th March, 2014.
This prestigious Event with five days of Pre-events, will feature world famous international acts from the Java Jazz line-up, other International artist’s as well as the best local talent from Bali and other parts of Indonesia.
‘Until now there has not been a yearly event providing a platform to showcase local talent, as well as attract High profile International Artists to perform in Bali.’ ‘We believe that this festival will provide that, whilst promoting Bali and adding attraction for foreign and domestic tourists during the low season.’said Jed (Ias) Balaskas, a music promoter from Jazz Cafe, which is in Ubud and is famous for being the first live Jazz venue on the island of Bali, opening in 1996 (www.jazzcafebali.com).
The program will consist of five nights of Pre-Events featuring bands from the festival line-up, at a selection of premiere Live Music Venues around the island. These venues will include the Jazz Café in Ubud, Uma Cucina in Ubud, Ryoshi House of Jazz Seminyak, SOS Anantara Seminyak, Hard Rock Café in Kuta, Beachwalk Shopping Centre Kuta, Mozaic Beach Club Kerobokan, Sundara Restaurant in Jimbaran, Le Meridien Hotel Jimbaran and Nusa Dua Beach Hotel in Nusa Dua.
The festival will be an all day open air concert at Taman Bhagawan, an iconic and idyllic ocean-front venue for events in Tanjung Benoa on Saturday 8th March from 1pm- 12am. Festival guests will enjoy the beautiful Balinese style setting of Taman Bhagawan, with direct access to a 100-metre stretch of white sand beach in the charming village of Tanjung Benoa which is just 5 mins drive from the exclusive Nusa Dua tourists enclave, 20 mins drive from the airport and 30 mins from Seminyak, Kuta or Denpasar.
The concert will feature up to 6

an all day event featuring all of the acts playing consecutively on one
stage, performing a 45minute – 1.5 hour set each.

This vision is shared by our associates
on this project; the Java Jazz Festival, as well as numerous
